It's 6am and we've only just got back from the festival.

We spent 9 hours there. It was so awesome. I went into a mosh pit for the first time and someone was crowd surfing and when they got to me they fell on me as I am quite weak. We got right at the front of the stage for 3 acts which was amazing.

Now it’s time for 6 hours sleep and then we’ll do it all again :)

I am in Barcelona with my best friend, the sun is shining and we have been eating amazing food. The music fesitival starts tonight which will be awesome. I am very happy right now.

I have 12 days until I go to Barcelona and 15 days until my report is due in. I need to finish the report before I go otherwise I know I will be stressing about it and it’ll ruin my holiday. I only need to write 100 words a day and it’ll be done.

I’m watching a show on hoarding and it’s making me realise how bad my mums hoarding was. She would buy random stuff and then shove it anywhere, she had newspaper clippings from decades ago, books that she’d never read, random nick nacks that had no use but she still never got rid of them. The downstairs of the house got a major clean twice a year. It would remain clean for maybe 2 weeks before clutter started building up again. Now that I live with my dad, and have a very clean room, it’s made me realise how much better I feel when I come home to a room that isn’t cluttered and full of crap. I also think it’s easier to deal with my emotions when my room isn’t a tip. But I have found that sometimes I’ll have to consciously remind myself to hang up my clothes or put them in the washing basket and not on the floor as that’s what I was used to for so long.

It’s odd how old memories suddenly resurface.

When I get back from Barcelona I am seriously thinking of buying a bike and cycling to work everyday. It will help keep me fit and save money on travel costs. I arrive at work before 7am and there are bike racks just behind work so I should always be able to get a space.
